Myrrh has been traded for more than 4,000 years, tapped slowly from Commiphora trees and sun-dried into deep amber nuggets. It once travelled the same Incense Route as frankincense, burned in Egyptian temples and used in embalming rituals long before it became a fixture of modern perfumery. This one comes from the same family-run farm in Oman we've worked with for over 10 years, sourcing our Frankincense Resin.
Character
Rich and earthy with a gentle sweetness underneath, medicinal and herbal in a way that sets it apart from other resins. Burned on charcoal, it releases a warm, balsamic aroma.
