About the Artist
Robert Eickholt founded Eickholt Glass in 1978 in Columbus, Ohio, after studying glassblowing in Berkeley, California. He's known for dichroic and iridescent techniques, often incorporating gold, silver, and rare oxides like cobalt and copper, so the colour shifts depending on the angle it's viewed from. Every piece is hand-blown and one of a kind, signed and dated by the artist himself. Eickholt retired in 2008, leaving behind a body of work that continues to be sought after by collectors.
